Common Councilman Todd Berch Won't Seek Re-Election

He's the second Democratic councilman who had decided not to run in November, following the announcement of longtime member Ron Klattenberg.

Democratic Councilman Todd G. Berch will not seek re-election in November, according to the Middletown Press.

Berch was one of two newly seated members of the city's 12-member common council in 2010 along with Mary Bartolotta.

Berch is chair of the Public Works Commission and Contract Compliance Board and sits on the Park and Recreation Committee. He is also the recording secretary of the United Association Local 777 Plumbers and Pipefitters based in Meriden.
