PD: Woman With Long Record of Prostitution, Drugs Picked up on Warrants

The 31-year-old Portland woman has multiple convictions for various petty crimes in Middletown over the last seven years.

A Portland woman with a long history of narcotics-related and prostitution convictions was picked up this week on two outstanding warrants, according to Middletown Police.

On Aug. 10 at 7:30 p.m., Rachel Larkin, 31, of Tuccito Road, Portland, was seen by police walking on Kings Highway with two outstanding warrants. She was charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear related to an incident on July 10, in which she and another woman were doing drugs on the railroad tracks near Pearl Street

Last August, she was seen by an officer walking down Pearl Street with eight outstanding warrants.

In September 2011, she was found on Green Street taking off her clothes in public in only underwear and a bra, according to a police report.

According to the Connecticut Judicial website, Larkin has dozens of convictions from 2006 to the present for narcotics-related crimes, shoplifting, prostitution, larceny and failure to appear and has served many months in jail.
