PD: Woman Who Kicked EMS Worker Arrested 77 Times Prior

Middletown Police say a 51-year-old city resident was thought to be either inebriated or high and attacked paramedics verbally and physically.

 

A 51-year-old city woman, who has been arrested nearly 80 times over the years, kicked a paramedic so hard in the chest it knocked the wind out of him, according to Middletown Police.

On Sept. 4, Marilyn Elaine Sweatt of Labella Circle was taken by Hunter's Ambulance to the Middlesex Hospital emergency room for being under the influence of an unknown drug and/or alcohol, according to the report.

"She was irate, yelling obscenities," and kicked an EMS worker in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him, the report indicates.

A Connecticut State Police check revealed she has an extensive record of 77 prior arrests.

Sweatt was charged with disorderly conduct.
