PD: Guys' Fight Over Texting Girl Leaves Apartment Wrecked

Two Middletown men were arrested for breaking chairs, a kitchen table and countertop and busting a hole in the kitchen wall of a woman's home.

A man who reportedly texted another man's girlfriend led to an aggressive scuffle between the duo that left furniture and a wall in their friend's apartment destroyed, according to Middletown Police.

On July 31 at 3:44 p.m., Joshua J. Badillo, 23, of Highland Avenue was involved in a fight with Larami Vereen, 37, of Hunting Hill Avenue in a friend's apartment, breaking some items, the report says.

Badillo was allegedly texting Vereen's girlfriend, which led to wrestling and throwing each other around the apartment, police say. The duo broke chairs, a kitchen table and countertop and busted a hole in the kitchen wall.
