The following information was provided by the Middletown Police Department. Inclusion on this list does not indicate a conviction.

DRIVING WITH A SUSPENDED LICENSE: On April 24 Jessica Carlson, 29, of South Main Street, was charged with driving with a suspended license after she was pulled over by a patrol officer.

DRIVING AN UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLE: On April 23 Donald G. Demoranville, 48, of Newfield Street, was charged with driving an unregistered motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without insurance during a motor vehicle stop by an officer.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On April 24 police were dispatched to a home at 6 Traverse Square shortly after 5 p.m. for a complaint of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, police said, they found William Goodnight, 29, of 594 Main St., yelling inside the apartment at Traverse Square and were told by a woman there that Goodnight was yelling at her and her daughter. Goodnight was charged with disorderly conduct and released from Middletown Police on a $500 bond. However, during processing police determined that he was wanted on a warrant by Wethersfield police and he was turned over to that department for processing.

THREATENING, HARRASMENT: On April 24 police received a complaint from a woman who said her former boyfriend, Kevin Maitland, was harassing her, sending her threatening text messages and came to her place of work and threatened her. After viewing text messages on Maitland’s ex-girlfriend's cell phone and interviewing Maitlin, police charged him with second-degree threatening, second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct. He was released on a $25,000 bond and was arraigned on April 25.

BREACH OF PEACE: A local man was charged April 24 after he was approached by police for stopping traffic while crossing Main Street and became combative with officers who gave him a ticket for “reckless use of a highway.” Police said Kirk J. Lisica, 38, of 66 Liberty St., swore at them, ripped the ticket up with his teeth and began swearing at the officers in front of children who were nearby. Police charged Lisica with second-degree breach of peace after warning him to stop swearing. He was held on a $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 8.
