Man Living in Station Wagon Tries Rolling Window Up on Officers Arms: Cops

Middletown Police report the following activity through June 2.

The Middletown Police report the following incidents:

FAILURE TO RESPOND TO INFRACTION — On June 2, Chad D. Slossberg, 38, of Oak Ridge Drive turned himself in to police on an outstanding warrant from Feb. 14 on Lancaster Court.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, SECOND-DEGREE THREATENING, THIRD-DEGREE ASSAULT, INTERFERING WITH EMERGENCY CALL — On June 2, Jakese Sessoms, 35, of Grand Street turned himself into police on an outstanding warrant from May 14 on Liberty Place.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On June 2, Troy Beltrane, 45, of College Street was at the report of a domestic disturbance in which he threw a plastic bottle at his girlfriend during an argument, hitting her in the head.

PROBATION VIOLATION — On June 2, Laura M. Dykas, 54, of Main Street was at the report of an unfounded domestic violence call. She had an outstanding warrant.

INTERFERING WITH OFFICER — On June 1, William A. Anderson, 53, of no certain address was in a station wagon parked on Pearl Street, reclined in the passenger seat, in a car packed with personal items. When asked how he was, he responded, “what’s your name? I want your badge number.” He grabbed a pen and paper, began writing, and said, “I’ve met every member of the Boston Police Department,” and “how many officers are there in the Middletown Police Department?” all in rapid-fire succession. He told police, who noted he was dirty and disheveled, with shorts unbuttoned and his zipper down, he lives on Pearl Street in his car. He refused to step out of the car and tried locking the door, then rolled up with window with the officer’s arms in it.

FIRST-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR, FAILURE TO RESPOND TO INFRACTION — On June 1, William Murtaugh, 46, of LaBella Circle was staggering on Main Street  heading north. He had multiple warrants outstanding.

RISK OF INJURY TO MINOR — On May 28, Ivy Maroney, 46, of Wilcox Drive, Durham, was at Wal-Mart in Wallingford being detained by Wallingford Police for a separate incident in town. She had an outstanding warrant from Feb. 7 on East Main Street.
