Reader Praises Mayor's Hurricane Sandy Response

A Middletown High School student and junior police officer is appreciative of Mayor Dan Drew and city staff who mobilized during the storm.

Editor's Note: Middletown High School Junior Billy Prevatte wrote this letter to Mayr Dan Drew.

Dear Mayor Drew:

I want to say thank you for all that you did during the hurricane. It meant so much to me that you guys were keeping us safe during hurricane Sandy.

And now some people are still without power but at least no one was hurt in Middletown from the storm. But on the Wesleyan campus parking lot, there was a big huge tree on a vehicle.  

Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for everything and also for keeping us all safe and for checking in on everybody during the storm.
