Kiwanis Clubs focus on changing the world by serving children, one child and one community at a time.

Kiwanis International was founded in 1915 in Detroit, Michigan, with our local Kiwanis Club of Middletown, CT being chartered in 1951. Through the years, our members, men and women who are part of Middletown, either through careers or residence have met every week to give a little of their time to help make our community and the world better places in which to live and work.

Dedicated to serving the children of the world, this global volunteer organization raises more than US$100 million and dedicates more than 18.5 million hours to strengthen communities and help children. Through service projects and fundraisers, Kiwanis members improve their communities, make lifelong friendships, and, most importantly, help children thrive, prosper and reach their full potential.

Club meetings offer an atmosphere of fun, learning, and fellowship. In addition to attending the meetings, the typical Kiwanian volunteers each month to assist with club service projects.
