I"ve spent the past 18 years online, in higher education website creation and development, social media, admission marketing and public relations with a premier private college of liberal arts and sciences. An early Web adapter, I began an online international t-shirt company concept in 1996, with clients worldwide. Previously, with husband, Lou, I experienced 14 years of overseas living and traveling, where I obtained fluency in two languages (Italian, German) and exposure to international business and government, holding an editor's position with the United States Information Agency in West Berlin and working as a freelance writer/editor in Milan, Italy. Our two children were born in Milan, and even today frequently visit the family home by the seashore in Waterford, CT. I also hold a master's degree in teaching of Italian language and culture from Connecticut College and maintain Connecticut State Teaching Certification, Grades 7-12, in Italian language and literature.
