This is one of 17 field offices in Connecticut.</p> <p>By visiting the office or using the agency's automated service, beneficiaries can report a change of address or telephone number; start or change direct deposit of benefits; request, choose or change a password; verify direct deposit, Medicare and payment information and name and address information; request a proof-of-income letter; and request a Social Security benefit statement. Medicare beneficiaries may use the office to request a replacement card or to apply for help with meeting their Medicare prescription-drug costs. </p> <p>People who have applied for benefits can contact the office to get a claim status.
