Its services include support for fathers and mothers who are dealing with issues of depression, families with special needs children,  breast feeding education and more. It provides psychological care, infant massage, enrichment programs and other services. Based in Middletown, CHC provides primary care in medicine, dentistry and behavioral health, as well as community services and programs at locations around the state. It provides this care to all, but particularly to the uninsured and underinsured.</p> <p>CHC has centers in 12 Connecticut cities and delivers services in 173 locations statewide (including Middletown High School, both of the city's middle schools and at MacDonough Elementary School) for more than 130,000 patients. It aims to incorporate prevention and health promotion, treatment of illness, and management of chronic disease—often all during the same visit.</p> <p>On November 22, 2010, CHC broke ground for a new, three-story building nearby at the corner of Main and Grand streets. The building will house all of the Community Health Center of Middletown’s primary care, dental and behavioral health services, which are currently in separate buildings in the city's North End neighborhood.</p>
