It is operated by the state's Department of Children and Families.</p> <p>The school is on a 34-acre site in Middletown and provides educational, vocational and recreational programming. Clinical programming includes substance abuse treatment, anger management and individual, and family and group therapy.</p> <p>The Boys and Girls Club of Hartford opened a satellite club on the grounds for all residents in 2006. Relationships with community providers are established while the child is in residence to enhance the transition process.</p>
