Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries is a monthly review service published by the Association of CollegeMore and Research Libraries. It's the premier source for reviews of academic books, electronic media and Internet resources of interest to those in higher education. The magazine's main editorial, advertising, subscription and production offices are at suite 300 on the third floor of 575 Main St.

This program is administered by the Middletown Board of Education in cooperation with area boards of education. ItMore provides academic programs, early-childhood classes, family education, job training, workplace education, enrichment classes, counseling and assessment services.

Academic programs are designed to meet requirements for a high school diploma and are free to residents of member towns: Middletown, Cromwell, East Haddam/Moodus, East Hampton, Old Saybrook, Portland, Rocky Hill, Regional District 4 (Chester, Deep River, Essex, Centerbrook, Ivoryton), Regional District 13 (Durham, Middlefield, Rockfall) and Regional District 17 (Haddam, Higganum, Killingworth), and Westbrook. Additional locations are in the First United Methodist Church on Old Church Street in Middletown, Old Saybrook, Killingworth and Rocky Hill.

The six-story building includes facilities used regularly for academic events. It offers several auditoriums, one seating 150, and has a spacious lobby area. The building is completely handicap accessible, and has ample parking available.

The center can accommodate up to 30 children at a time in space provided by the Wilcox Apartment Complex on South Main Street.
