I don't know all the details, but I am surprised Wesleyan isn't doing more to help this young woman.

Ms. Bietzel.. Please state facts not fiction this is a prime example of how you are taking bits andRead More pieces of information and mKing your own versions of things ....they boy you are speaking of only stayed back cause he started school early due to his month of birth ...the boy in fact is 7 years old. Please tell us all why anytime your son was bulleyed on the bus by a fellow student you always made sure to confront the child alone at the bus stop without there parents...why did you never confro.t this child..i as a parent at the bus your child rides have witnessed you do this many of times along with other parents.. Please tell is it because the mother is always with the child. And why have you never spoken to the mother of the other child about these issues your child and hers were having. before this incedent happened. There are 2 sides to every story.

Here are some direct quotes of his false promises.. (1) “So ***** stated to dad that he wasRead More reading in class and ***** approached him and stated that I'll bash you in the head with a hammer and if I cant find my hammer I'll saw your head off with a knife.” (2) “So we want to make sure that ***** is safe now and number two we want to make sure that the boy, we're not mentioning his name, gets addressed appropriately.” (3) “But also I agree with you they should be separated. And I want to make sure that they're separated when we do classroom compositions for next year too. I mean kids grow up and they change over time, but I think it would be the best idea if they were not together.” (4) “And the other thing is, um, the bus. We want to make sure *****'s safe on the bus so ***** can stay on the bus and I'm gonna make arrangements for separate transportation too.” (5) “Um, my plan is to separate them for the rest of the school year and that they not be together next year in the same class. In addition, um, transportation for this year they'll be separate and what I'd like you to do is call me at the beginning of next year and make sure that the other boy has alternate transportation. Yeah. And I think if you could call me like the week before school starts to remind me that the other boy continue on alternate transportation.” (6) “One of the things we can do is, for the child that approached *****, is a parent to monitor – but also a safety check each morning. Which monitors what is brought into the school. So we're going to do safety checks, starting tomorrow.” (7) “I will see to it that their classes are separated, on the bus also, like I said the other boy involved will get safety checks every morning, and um, I'm going to make sure they're separated for next year.” (8) “Either way he wont be in *******'s class anymore and they wont be on the same bus, I'll make sure they're separated in the cafe, at recess also, um.. So I consider that zero tolerance, that's going to the maximum possible.” (9) “(To the victim) But what I'm going to assure you is that it wont happen again. Because I'm going to make sure that you're going to be in Ms ******'s class, but we're going to work to, um, do some other adjustments. Okay?”

Shame that money can't go to the people who actually teach the kids.

While I think it is outrageous for anyone to make that much money unless they run the country, IRead More have to say that Dr. Charles works tirelessly. She lives, eats and breathes this job. She cares about the school district and EVERYONE in it. She has found ways to save money, so that money can be appropriated to the areas that it NEEDS to be. Her and Enza have given much needed hope to the people in this district. The BOE members must have seen this potential and didn't want to let her get away.
