Where to Get Valentine’s Day Dinner in Middletown

Valentine’s Day is the perfect occasion for a fancy dinner, and lucky for us, there are plenty of restaurants in town with delicious options for the holiday evening! So grab your boyfriend/girlfriend/roommate/mom and reserve a table at one of these wonderful restaurants!

Restaurants with Valentine’s day promotions:

Anoho Noodle House:

 Anoho’s Valentine’s day promotion includes a dine-in for two with a complimentary beverage or dessert, as long as the total bill is greater than $20 pre-tax.

Amici Italian Grill:

This Valentine’s Day, Amici will be featuring a blackberry salad appetizer ($7.00), as well as two special entrees. Yellow jacket liquini ($23.00), which consists of squid ink saffron linguini tossed with garlic and lemon butter, crab, clams, and butter poached lobster. They are also serving stuffed beef tenderloin ($25.00), a combination of shrimp and lobster stuffed in beef tenderloin and served with potato au gratin and a peppercorn red wine reduction sauce.

The Nest:

The Nest is much more than just a bar, check out the restaurant style menu featuring new specials showcasing the talent of their new chef, a graduate from the culinary institute of America. This Valentine’s day they will be featuring a sautéed chicken with passion fruit sauce served with asparagus and red potatoes, crabcakes with roasted red pepper sauce, asparagus, and potatoes, complimentary New York cheesecake with strawberries, and a cherry champagne drink special. Reservations suggested.

Tuscany Grill:

 This Valentine’s Day, Tuscany Grill will be offering there normal menu, as well as several specials for the holiday. These will include cabernet braised short ribs, stuffed lobster tails, peppercorn crusted beef filet medallions wrapped in bacon, and Chilean sea bass.

Mezzo Grille:

 Mezzo Grille, a restaurant that prides itself on its great deals, warming atmosphere, and excellent service, will be having Valentine’s Day specials all week. These include a chicken, sausage, and white bean chili ($4.25/5.50), a pan seared scallop appetizer ($11.95), caprese salad ($9.95), a surf and turf with filet mignon and grilled lobster tail ($21.95), and short rib Bolognese ($18.95).

Jerry’s Pizza:

 Jerry’s pizza is world famous for their white Sicilian pie. This Valentine’s day, they’ll also be featuring heart shaped pizzas. The perfect casual meal for you and that special someone!

O’Rourke’s:

 As if O’Rourke’s wasn’t delicious enough, this year they’re having Sweet Harmony, a restaurant that used to be on Broad Street but recently and temporarily closed in hopes of relocating bring an extra dollop of homemade love to their Valentine menu. Highlights of the $35.00 menu include a stuffed mushroom Florentine appetizer, root vegetable bisque, a beef, salmon, or vegetarian entrée, and desserts ranging from crepe rose cake to lava cake to mango cake to gluten free pot de crème. The dinner will take place at 6:00 pm, and reservations are required.

It’s Only Natural Restaurant:

 If either you or your significant other is vegetarian, have no fear! The It’s Only Natural Restaurant is having a $45 prix fixe meal. It starts with cauliflower soup with black truffles and celery leaves, then a roasted beet salad with pistachios and a lavender honey vinaigrette. The entrée is a tofu wellington, and the dessert will be a chocolate “surprise!”

Esca Restaurant and Wine Bar:

 Although they have not created it yet, Esca will be having a prix fixe dinner on Valentine’s Day. You can count on delicious Italian cuisine with a continental flair, served in a beautiful, friendly atmosphere.
