If you were lucky enough to come to the student fair in time to grab yourself a cupcake from our table a few weeks ago, you probably are already well aware of how tasty these guys are. The only thing Lizzy B’s could do to make them even better?
Make them mini.
They make for a perfect after-meal dessert: usually by the end of a meal a whole cupcake might not seem manageable, but these make it possible. Additionally, the frosting-to-cupcake ratio is spot on, and the light texture and gentle sweetness of both the red velvet and chocolate cakes balance out the sweet frostings. The frosting on the red velvet is, as tradition goes, cream cheese, and the chocolate’s tastes a bit like vanilla ice cream. Yum! I shared them with my friend and hallmateRobert Don, who kindly contributed his opinion on the matter:
“I’M NOT A FAN OF FROSTING BUT THESE CUPCAKES MAY CONVERT ME.”
However, if cupcakes just aren’t on the agenda for you right now — besides the fact that I do encourage you get these on that agenda — Lizzy B’s has lots more for you to choose from. Ari recently made the trip down, and reported on the bountiful amounts of colorful, fun-shaped gummies, and the Stonewall Kichen product line now being sold at the shop!
