Haddam Neck Country Fair Continues Through Labor Day

Today's musical lineup includes Amy Gallatin and Stillwaters and Shakedown, and this afternoon features a horse-pulling contest and the Moodus Drum & Fife Corps.

Intermittent showers couldn't stop the throngs of people who visited the Haddam Neck Fair Saturday, where hundreds of families strolled through the livestock barns, enjoyed roasted chicken, bloomin' onions, cotton candy and more.

The weather is party sunny with a chance of showers for Sunday in Haddam Neck and Monday looks rainy.

The baking, fruit and vegetable contest winners are on display as are hundreds of other photography, crafts, collections, the 4H booth, historical society, library and much more.

On Sunday beginning at 1 p.m., live music includes Amy Gallatin & StillwatersHot Day At The Zoo and the Grateful Dead-inspired Shakedown. The Horse Pulling Contest starts at noon and at 1 p.m., you can catch the Moodus Drum & Fife Corps.

The fun continues Monday with an Antique Tractor Pull, Kids Pedal Tractor Pull and an International Jousting Association Event.

Entrance is $8 each, children under 12 and parking is free, with $30 for a full day ride bracelet.
