Domestic Violence Group Seeks Donations for its Clients, Shelter

Editor’s Note: It’s the holiday season and for many, that means something more than finding the perfect gift or going to parties. For social service groups or charities, it’s the time when they reach out for that extra bit of help. New Horizons Domestic Violence Services

WHO THEY ARE:

New Horizons, located in Middletown, provides services throughout Middlsex County to victims of domestic violence and their children. The agency operates a 24-hour crisis line, intervention/safety planning, court support services, advocacy, individual and group couseling, and short-term emergency shelter.

 

WHAT THEY NEED:

Stop & Shop gift certificates in $10 increments; gas cards for client travel; CVS, Walgreens or Rite Aid cards for personal products; Parmalatt extended shelf milk; Wal-Mart gift cards; car booster seats for toddlers; pots and pans for shelter.

 

BIG WISH:

A van to transport clients.
