The Wesleyan men’s basketball team pulled off a thrilling victory over Eastern Connecticut State University last week. The Cardinals were down 16 points in the first half before rallying behind sophomore guard Sasha Brown. Brown scored 22 second half points, yet Wesleyan was still down one point when his shot was blocked out of bounds with three seconds left. After the in-bounds pass, Brown took two dribbles and swished a 15-foot jumper for the 66-65 win. Brown finished with 30 points and is averaging 19.0 points per game, good for second in the NESCAC conference.
