The Connecticut Athletic Trainers Association (CATA) is sponsoring the CATA Penny F. Dunker-Polek Scholarship Walkathon on Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT.
The event includes a 5K Run, Kids Run, Walk-a-thon and Vendor Fair.
Proceeds will help to endow an academic scholarship in memory of Penny F. Dunker-Polek, who died at the age of 35 after a courageous battle with colon cancer.
