with Rikki Alrutz. Rikki holds degrees in Standing Pilates from the PhysicalMind Institute, and Matt, Reformer and Orbit Pilates from Balanced Body University. Rikki is also certified in The Franklin Method, a system that incorporates he practical elements of body design and mind/body connection through imagery, experiential anatomy, movement, and touch. Rikki has taught internationally.
Pilates exercises develop strength, flexibility, and breath control. While these sessions focus on core musculature, they also address spinal mobility and stability. Balls, foam rollers, and bands are sometimes used. Pilates is a non-impact form of movement. All levels: exercises will be modified according to each student's ability and experience with the system. Beginners welcome.
