Middletown Cash Mob: It's Ursel's Web!

Sow Fresh Organics, a new organic food delivery service, based in Middletown, CT is hosting a Cash Mob in Middletown on July 28 at 9AM. If you’ve never heard of a cash mob, it is an event where people agree to meet at one pre-determined location in town and bring $20 in cash to spend in a local business. The business’ identity is kept
secret until just before the event.  Cash Mobs have been popping up all over the country and Karen and Kedhar Thiruvalam, owners of Sow Fresh Organics thought that Middletown should be the next target.

“Since we are a new business in Middletown, we wanted to connect with members of the community and show
our support for local business,” explains Durham native, Karen Thiruvalam. “I grew up in a small town and can appreciate the sense of family and camaraderie that comes from living and working in a smaller town.”

Sow Fresh Organics has created a Middletown Cash Mob facebook page https://www.facebook.com/SFOMiddletownCashMob where people can follow the progress of the Middletown Cash Mob and sign up to participate in the event.  The rules of the cash mob are simple. 1. Spend
$20 (or more, if so inclined) at a local business.  2. Meet new people.  3. Have fun.
