Woodrow Wilson Students Noted for Exceptional Work

Students who demonstrated academic improvement and increased effort in their classes were honored by middle-school faculty.

More than 50 students, parents and  faculty attended a “Step-Up Breakfast” Jan. 27 to honor students that demonstrated academic improvement along with increased effort contributing to overall improvement in one or more subject area classes.

Principal Donald W. Gates commended the students for overcoming barriers and demonstrating marked improvements in effort that contributed to academic achievement.

Faculty members representing various program areas presented certificates of achievement to the following students: Jayson DeFrance, Gilianne Oyola, Jeff Winter, Isac Frazer, Michal Jankowski, Drue Marino, Joseph Meeker, Genesis Morales, Jazmine Vereen, Robert Pimentel, Jordan Yap. Alex Timinskas, Josh Curneal, Steven Valenti, Jhermaoll Turnage, Ashley Turner and Kolbe Watson.
