Updated: Raekwon, Ghostface Killah Headline Wes Spring Fling
Thousands of students let loose on Foss Hill as Wu-Tang Clan hip-hop icons took the stage.
Thousands of jubilant Wesleyan University students flocked to spring fling, the annual party marking the end of classes with food, drink, and live musicians — most notably '90s hip-hop icons Ghostface Killah and Raekwon.
Bon Appetit tables full of hot dogs, hamburgers, barbecue chicken, pasta and vegetable salads were served buffet-style outdoors as students filled all of Foss Hill, dancing, lounging on blankets and celebrating with friends.
The event began at 1 p.m., with Wes band Flora & Fauna, whih won the chance to open up for the Wavves and The Walkmen. Raekwon and Ghostface Killah took the stage at 4 p.m. And when they did, the crowd went wild.
