Middletown High Track Stars Have Shot at New Balance Nationals
Help Patch cheer on these amazingly talented five student athletes who comprise two relay teams competing this weekend in North Carolina.
The Middletown High School’s Boy’s Track program will be sending five athletes to Greensboro, N.C., this weekend to compete in the New Balance National Outdoor Track and Field meet.
Two relay teams have qualified. The team of London Highsmith, Denzell Dempsey, O’Brian Sinclair and Jashane Brown will be competing in the championship 4x100 relay, while Dempsey, Sinclair, Brown and Marcus Alleyne will be racing in the emerging elite 4x400 relay.
The 4x400 team won the State Class L meet and the State Open meet and finished 4th in the New England Championships this past weekend.

The 4x100 team was second in the Class L meet, second in the State Open meet as well as second in the New England Championships.
