Middletown Arts Offers Affordable, Multifaceted Summer Fun

The city arts office is now accepting enrollment for summer Academic Enrichment and KIDS ARTS beginning July 1.

Middletown's Arts Office is busy planning for another summer of fun and learning at Macdonough School.

The Macdonough School Summer Academic Enrichment Program and Middletown's KIDS ARTS 2013 program is open to children who live city-wide.

Both programs will be held at Macdonough School beginning on July 1 and ending on Aug. 2. Combine the morning Academic Enrichment Program with an afternoon KIDS ARTS program for a full day of summer fun. All enrolled students are eligible for our free summer breakfast and free summer lunch programs.

  • 2013 Summer Camp Guide for Middlesex County

KIDS ARTS Summer Camp is a 5 week program that has been successfully run in Middletown for many years. The Middletown Commission on the Arts has partnered with NEAR (North End Arts Rising, Inc.) We have up to 60 class seats; this year we had 56 on the final roster after several families changed their plans. Children were divided into 4 classes, of which there were two age groups: 6-9 and 10-14; each group had a morning class and an afternoon class.
