Free Film: 'Crude Awakening: Oil Crash'

Middlesex Community College will host a free screening of the 2007 film, “A Crude Awakening: The Oil Crash," at 11 a.m. in Chapman Hall, Room 808 C&D.  The film discusses “how our civilization’s addiction to oil puts it on a collision course with geology,” and suggests we need to completely “re-imagine and overhaul our industrial society.”   Immediately following the film, MxCC President Dr. Anna Wasescha will officially sign the American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment.  A Peak Oil panel discussion will follow.  Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to Chapman Hall.
