Cancer Center to Host Men's Health and Wellness Day

The Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center is hosting a Men’s Health and Wellness Day on Saturday, April 14, 2012. This free outreach event is designed to provide access to healthcare and community services for those men in the Middletown area who have limited or no health insurance.

Services provided will include: prostate cancer screenings and education, medical assessment of minor health concerns, blood pressure screenings, basic eye exams, foot care, smoking cessation information and cancer prevention information. Massage therapy and reflexology will also be provided.

Various local organizations will showcase information about other community services. A hot lunch will be provided, and the first 100 men who complete all of the available screening services that day will receive a Stop and Shop gift card.
