Snow School Kids Learn Recycling While Clowning Around

Artfarm's Professor Offlivarminhere visited children during lunchtime to stress the importance of separating recyclable items from trash.



At 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dic Wheeler and Marcella Trowbridge of gave a presentation at kicking off a new recycling initiative in coordination with Kim O'Rourke, the city's recycling coordinator and principal Jim Gaudreau.

Dic Wheeler, aka Professor Offlivarminhere, visited the lunch shifts, guiding students and staff as to where  to place their recyclables and garbage. The duo will visit the school again Monday to reinforce the lesson.

Artfarm is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 dedicated to creating high-quality theater with a commitment to simple living, environmental sustainability and social action. is a performance that explains the fragility of the Earth's dependence upon water.
