Malloy's Town Hall Meetings Wrap up Tonight in Middletown

The city is the last stop on a 17-city schedule which began Feb. 21 in Bridgeport

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy wraps up his 17-city town hall-style meetings tonight in Middletown in a forum that allows residents to discuss the economy, his proposed budget, and other issues.

The event at Middletown High School Auditorium, 200 LaRosa Lane, runs from 7-8 p.m. and is open to the public and no reservations are required.

Nearly 500 people attended the last event in Danbury on April 6. On that date, people questioned every decision Malloy has made in his first budget proposal, from how he will fund programs for people with disabilities, to how union negotiations are going, to how he treats trade schools and the elderly.
