Sen. Suzio to Host Town Hall Meeting Wednesday

The Republican legislator will discuss and take questions on the education reform bill, the revised state budget and his efforts to cap and lower the gas tax.

At Middletown City Hall on Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m., state Sen. Len Suzio will update taxpayers on recently passed legislation, discuss the recently concluded 2012 legislative session and answer questions from taxpayers.

The event is free and open to the public.

Suzio will also discuss:

  • Legislation which will impact Middletown, including the education reform bill and the revised state budget.
  • His attempts to cap and lower the state’s gas tax.

“I urge taxpayers to come out to city hall on Wednesday evening," Suzio said. “I will tell you where our state finances stand and discuss policies which were passed at the State Capitol. Stop by, say hello, and get your questions answered.”

City Hall is located at 245 DeKoven Drive, Middletown. Those who cannot attend can contact Suzio at Len.Suzio@cga.ct.gov or (800) 842-1421.
