The residents of Middletown's South Fire District approved the budget for fiscal year 2013-2014 by a vote of 453 to 301 on Tuesday night, district offiicals announced. The new $4.6 million budget will not increase taxes in the fire district and sets the tax rate at 3.648 mils.
