Senior Expo Tuesday Offers Free Blood Pressure Screenings, Health Info

Senior citizens and their families from Cromwell, Middletown, Newington, Rocky Hill and Wethersfield are invited to learn about federal and state veterans' benefits and energy and housing assistance.

State Sen. Paul Doyle (D-Wethersfield) will host his annual Senior Expo for five area towns at the Cromwell Senior Center on Tuesday. 

Senior citizens and their families from Cromwell, Middletown, Newington, Rocky Hill and Wethersfield are encouraged to attend the free event.

There will be free blood pressure and glucose screenings, and dozens of service providers and vendors will showcase programs and services for senior citizens.

Highlights include information on medical and behavioral health programs, counseling about federal and state veterans’ benefits, and information on energy and housing assistance.

Events run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Cromwell Senior Center, 41 West Street, Cromwell.
