Sen. Suzio Celebrates Xavier Student's Volunteerism

Suzio presented Passavant with an official citation reconizing the teen's volunteerism on behalf of the March of Dimes.

On Feb. 23 at the State Capitol, Xavier High School senior Mason Passavant of Middletown was honored by State Sen. Len Suzio.

"Mason is a great role model for students across Connecticut, and I wanted him to know how much the State of Connecticut appreciates his efforts," Suzio said.  "The work he has done and the money he has raised has helped to save lives.  Everyone of us can make a positive difference in this world, and Mason, through his volunteerism, is doing just that."
