Sen. Suzio Works to Prevent Child Abuse

The state senator pledged to continue to fight at the State Capitol for policies aimed at putting an end to child abuse.

 

State Sen. Len Suzio on Thursday spoke at the fourth annual Child Abuse Prevention Day on Middletown's South Green. The event, organized by the , focused on the need to stop child abuse and domestic violence.

Suzio related personal discussions he has had with victims of abuse and the impact those experiences have had on him. He commended the Community Renewal Team and public officials for their efforts to raise public awareness about the issue. 

Suzio pledged to continue to fight at the State Capitol for policies aimed at putting an end to child abuse.

Suzio is the ranking Republican on the state legislature’s Select Committee on Children. He served on the Meriden Board of Education for 14 years.
