Middletown Zoning Board Elects Dan Russo as Chair
After Democrats Stephen Devoto and past chair Richard Pelletier were nominated to fill the chair's seat, a consensus could not be reached, according to reports.
Democrat Dan Russo has just been elected chair, Republican Molly Salafia as vice chair and Democrat Joyce Rossitter as secretary of the Middletown Planning and Zoning Board, according to the Hartford Courant.
The compromise, the Courant reports, was reached after commissioners Democrats Stephen Devoto and past chair Richard Pelletier were nominated as chair and a consensus could not be reached.
At the regular council meeting earlier this month, Russo was named to the zoning board along with former councilman, Pessinaas an alternate despite objections from his own party caucus which didn't support him in the November election.
