Stephen Morgan's Psych Results Expected in August: Judge

Evaluation ordered by State's Attorney Tim Liston delayed until doctors meet with him again Friday.

The results of accused murder Stephen Morgan's psychiatric evaluation will not be available until at least August, Judge Susan Handy told Morgan's defense attorney Richard Brown today, according to the Middletown Press.

Outside the court this morning, Brown said, "We're anticipating that if things go as expected, there will be a trial this fall in Middletown Superior Court."

Morgan, the Massachusetts man police say murdered 21-year-old Wesleyan University student Johanna Justin-Jinich in May 2009, was in Middletown Superior Court today for a state prosecutor's explanation of Morgan's psychiatric evaluation, according to the Hartford Courant.
