Each candidate was given equal time to speak and asked rigorous follow-up questions, said Labor Council President Ron Frost.

“Dan Drew will devote his administration to creating jobs and reducing property taxes,” Frost said. “He cares about middle-class families. He cares about getting people back to work. He cares about the issues that real people are facing each day.”

“I am honored to have earned the Labor Council’s endorsement because they’re interested in improving life for our middle-class families,” Drew said. “That means working every day on creating well-paying jobs with good benefits and it means working every day on easing the tax burden.”

“Middletown needs a mayor who will focus on the economy,” Frost said. “Dan Drew will ensure people have opportunities to find work, and as a councilman he’s already made good on his pledge to reduce taxes.”

“The Labor Council endorsing Dan Drew’s candidacy for Mayor is an affirmation that working people are interested in jobs and prosperity rather than wasteful and expensive lawsuits,” said Democratic Party Chairwoman Lisa Santangelo. “Dan Drew will work every day to return jobs and prosperity to our city.”
