Free Flu Shots Begin Tuesday

Middletown, Durham and Cromwell are giving no-cost, no-appointment injections to prevent influenza through December.

Mass Dispensing Area 36 (Cromwell, Durham, Middlefield, Middletown) announced its schedule for this year’s free seasonal flu clinics. The vaccine will be given by injection only (flu mist is not being offered).

Anyone 3 years of age or older and in good health is eligible to receive the vaccine. Insurance is not needed and residency is not required. There is a limited supply of vaccine which will be given out on a first-come, first- served basis. Appointments are not needed.

  • Tuesday: City Hall Council Chamber, 245 Dekoven Drive, Middletown, 12-8 p.m.
  • Oct. 21: AME ZION Church, 440 West St., Middletown, 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Nov. 2: Coles Road Firehouse, 105 Coles Road, Cromwell, 12-8 p.m.
  • Nov. 15: Activity Center (second floor), 350 Main St., Durham 12-8 p.m.
  • Nov. 30: Westfield Fire Firehouse, 653 East St., Middletown, 12-8 p.m.
  • Dec. 14: South Fire District Firehouse, 445 Randolph Road, Middletown, 12-8 p.m.
