Power Restoration Discussions: Senator Suzio to Hold Public Meeting
On Wednesday, November 16, State Sen. Len Suzio will hold a public meeting from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Middletown City Hall, 245 DeKoven Drive.
Suzio will talk with taxpayers and listen to their comments about the power restoration efforts, electric rates, state taxes and spending, transportation, public safety and a whole host of issues.
Suzio will have on hand frequently asked storm response questions and answers as well as his new petition to axe the tax on social security benefits. Connecticut is one of just 14 states to tax Social Security income.

Suzio will also bring a petition to cap the state’s gas tax for residents to sign. The gas tax cap petition has already been signed by hundreds of area taxpayers.
