SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — On Aug. 17 at 6:45 a.m., Brian Wheeler, 19, of Bailey Road turned himself into police.

THIRD-DEGREE ASSAULT, DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On Aug. 16 at 10:30 p.m., Christine Ely, 43, of Hillside Avenue told police she wanted her boyfriend to leave and admitted to biting him twice on the arm. He was watching television, bleeding from both arms; and said they had spent the day together and at 10 p.m. she “started going crazy.” He was sent to the hospital.

SIXTH-DEGREE LARCENY — On Aug. 16 at 11:35 a.m., Charles P. Dow, 50, of Liberty Street was seen at Home Depot on Washington Street pushing a shopping cart by security, who followed him down the plumbing aisle. He put several copper fittings, worth $109, inside an open bag on top of the cart and left without paying. He admitted to a heroin habit.

SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — On Aug. 16, Allen M. Cherry, 23, of Main Street turned himself into police on an active warrant.

TWO COUNTS  SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — On Aug. 16 at 6:45 p.m., William Ezell, 48, of St. John Street was stopped in his car by police and found with an outstanding warrant.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On Aug. 16 at 2 p.m., Katherine Y. Tremblay, 45, of Boardman Lane came home highly intoxicated and became violent, according to her husband. She woke him up by hitting him in the arms, shoulder and face, went downstairs and removed the phone from the wall and threw it, argued, yelled and made suicidal threats.

FOURTH-DEGREE CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, VIOLATION PROTECTIVE ORDER — On Aug. 15 at 3 p.m., Derek Elliot, 20, of Acacea Court was fighting with his father and went outside and broke the two side mirrors on his Grand Am, $250 in damage. He was found on Ridgewood Road and said he lives in a tent in the backyard of his father’s home, went inside to get his belongings, “got pissed” and kicked off the mirrors.

MISREPRESENTATION OF SUBSTANCE AS CONTROLLED, SIXTH-DEGREE LARCENY, REFUSE TO BE FINGERPRINTED — On Aug. 15, Daniel Harris, 45, of Pearl Street and Wayne Green of Main Street were spotted by undercover police sitting on the steps of a house in the 100 block of Pearl Street. Harris asked them, “What’s up? You good? You need something?” The officer asked for a “40 rock,” crack worth $40. He said he had to get it from Green and they should circle the block. He asked if they were police and they denied it. He said he had “two dubs,” two pieces of cocaine worth $20 each. He showed police the two baggies of crack in his hands and they gave him $40 and he asked them to meet him between two houses on Pearl at Frazier Avenue. They arrested him and he said, “I knew you guys were cops, what are you going to get me for, misrep?” They found a smoking pipe and what looked like three pieces of cocaine.

EVADING RESPONSIBILITY, OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WITH SUSPENDED LICENSE — On Aug. 15 at 6:30 p.m., Benjamin P. Keegan, 23, of Chamberlain Hill Road, Higganum, turned himself into police.

EVADING RESPONSIBILITY, OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE WITHOUT LICENSE, FAILURE TO DRIVE RIGHT — On Aug. 11, Daniel M. Javier, 33, of Spring Street was in a minor car accident, left the scene and parked in his driveway.

ENGAGING POLICE IN PURSUIT, SPEEDING — On Aug. 8, Dawn M. Jarvis, 42, of Teccitto Drive, Portland, was found speeding on Washington Street.

IMPROPER USE MARKER PLATE, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM, OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE IS SUSPENDED — On Aug. 7, Tyeri L. Green, 22, of Grand Street was driving on Harbor Drive with a bent-up plate. He said he had just gotten the car from the repair shop and put the license on from his other car.
