Troop F Police Blotter — Arrests Ending Nov. 15, 2013

The latest arrests relating to Middletown and nearby towns in Central Connecticut.

The following arrest information came from the State Police Troop F barracks in Westbrook. It does not indicate a conviction.

Middlefield

Nov. 14

A Middlefield juvenile was arrested after police said he forced his way into his father's locked bedroom to retrieve his electronics which his father had confiscatted after his son was suspended from school. The accused was issued a juvenile summons for third-degree criminal mischief and is due in Middletown Juvenile Court on Nov. 22.

Middletown

Nov. 15

Jessica Kimball, 33, 15 Clinton Ave., Middletown, was charged with second-degree failure to appear after she was taken into custody on Court Street in Middletown on Nov. 15. Kimball was held on a $5,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Middlesex Superior Court on Nov. 26.

Westbrook

Nov. 13

Briquann Chapman, 19, 1315 Ella Grasso Boulevard, New Haven, was charged with second-degree forgery, criminal impersonation and interfering with an officer on Nov. 13 after police said she was taken in on a warrant. Chapman was held on a $5,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Middlesex Superior Court on Nov. 26.

Justin L. Hoffman, 27, 182 Salt Island Road, Westbrook, was charged with third-degree assault, threatening, second-degree strangulation, first-degree unlawful restraint, interfering with an emergency call, disorderly conduct, risk of injury to a child, operating a motor vehicle with a refused license and operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Nov. 13 after police investigated a domestic dispute on Salt Island Road that resulted in physical injuries to the victim. Hoffman fled the scene and was later taken into custody at another address in Westbrook, police said. Hoffman was held on a $25,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Middlesex Superior Court on Nov. 13.

Deep River

Nov. 12

Police said a juvenile was assaulted with a baseball bat in the area of Rattling Valley Road in Deep River on Nov. 12. Another juvenile was arrested. The case is under investigation.

Chester

Nov. 15

Seth Eli Goodrow, 19, 466 Middletown Ave., New Haven, was charged with reckless driving after police said he was going 109 mph in a 65 mph zone on Route 9 south in Chester on Nov. 15. Goodrow was held on a $500 non-surety bond and is due in Middlesex Superior Court on Nov. 25.

Police are investigating a complaint of a debit card theft and fraudulent withdrawals on Nov. 16 in the town of Chester.
