State Police Troop F Westbrook Traffic Incidents: May 27 to June 3

The following police reports are obtained directly from the Connecticut State Police public information officer and inclusion on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

Connecticut State Police Troop F, Westbrook, reports the following incidents on a state highway involving Middletown residents:

June 3

At 10:32 a.m., N. Thomas Brown, 69, of Laconia, N.H., was driving a Honda CRV on the Route 9 on ramp at Exit 13 when he was hit by a Toyota Camry driven by Heather Dreaher, 21, of Pheasant Drive. No injuries were reported, according to the report.

At 4:11 p.m., Michelle Lundigan, 20, of Blue Spruce Street was driving a Hyundai Elantra on the Route 9 Exit 13 on ramp alongside Cathy Wang, 25, of Tunxis Road, West Hartford, driving a Honda Accord when Lundigan's car was backsided by Wang's car. There were no injuries, according to the report.

At 11:12 a.m., Gene Salvatore, 69, of Brown Street was driving a Nissan Pathfinder on the Route 9 Exit 13 on ramp when he was hit by Branden Bergeron, 26, of Spice Hill Drive, East Hampton, driving a Toyota Corolla. No injuries were reported, according to the report.

At 12:30 p.m., Sheila Bruce, 51, of Cooley Avenue was driving an Infinity G35 on the Route 9 on ramp at Exit 13 when she was hit by a GMC K1500 driven by Michael Lafountain, 49, and sent to Hartford Hospital for a back injury, according to the report. 

May 27

At 1:04 p.m., Paul Mattus, 57, of Tanager Circle, Tariffville, was driving a Honda Civic on the Route 9 on ramp at Exit 13 and hit the rear of a Nissan Versa driven by Paul Motta of Johnson Street. Mattus was given a verbal warning for unsafe movement, according to the report. No injuries ensued.
