Red Cross Helping Middletown Victims of House Fire

A fire that broke out in the Westfield section of town on Friday left three people in need.

A fire damaged a two-story home in the Westfield section of Middletown on Friday.

According to The Middletown Press, no one was injured in the fire, which began on the first floor and spread upstairs.

The incident is still under investigation by city fire officials.

In a news release, the American Red Cross stationed in Connecticut said it was assisting the Middletown family affected by the Friday evening fire.

The nonprofit organization said it was providing the family, two adults and one child, with emergency food and clothing.
