UPDATE: Missing City Woman Found Safe

Laura Maturo, reported missing Friday, has been located and is doing well, according to police.

 

UPDATE 9:13 p.m.

Laura Maturo, 49, missing since early Friday, has been found and is "doing OK," according to Middletown Police. No further information has been released.

are searching for a missing 49-year-old city woman who they say is a danger to herself.

of Middletown is described as white, 4 feet 11 inches tall, 175 pounds, with long brown wavy hair and brown eyes, was last seen wearing a pink sweatshirt, blue pants and white sneakers and her hair pulled up in ponytail and glasses, police report.

Maturo was last seen at the Stop and Shop in Middletown at 9 a.m. Friday. She is driving a bronze/tan 2011 Toyota Rav 4 with a Connecticut plate 411 YMT.

Maturo ran for last September as an unaffiliated candidate.

Police advise those who come into contact with Maturo should contact the police, as she may be in need of medical attention.
