Police Searching for Man, 65, Suffering From Memory Loss

Police say David Godwin traveled by train from Old Saybrook to Penn Station in New York City and hasn't been heard of since.

Middletown Police are searching for a 65-year-old city man who suffers from memory loss and hasn't been since mid-October.

On Oct. 18, police received a missing person report for David Godwin Sr., who was last seen five days prior at the Passport Inn, 1310 South Main St.

Police believe Godwin traveled by train from Old Saybrook to Penn Station in New York City and he did arrive in New York City on Oct. 14, however the last communication anyone had with him was Oct. 16.

He's described as a white male with gray hair and brown eyes who wears thick glasses and stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. There is no description of the clothing he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.
