Police: Rocky Hill Body is Middletown Woman Missing Since January

The remains of a woman found earlier this week in Rocky Hill has been identified as a Middletown woman missing since Jan. 1
Police say the badly decomposed body discovered early Monday morning in a shallow grave by a Hartford lawyer walking his dog in a remote sand pit near a private PGA golf course is that of Lisa Shannon, 44, of College Street.
Middletown Police had been searching for Shannon since Jan. 25, the Hartford Courant reports.

According to Lt. J. Paul Vance, the medical examiner has not determined the
cause of death.
