Police: Drunk Woman Urinates in Boyfriend's Yard, Hits Him in Head With Belt

BREACH OF PEACE — On Aug. 4 at 8:51 p.m., Richard D. Hemsley, 48, of Randolph Road called police to say he saw his stepfather, Michael Kucka, 71, of Randolph Road, his mother’s soon-to-be ex-husband, on the property during an ongoing civil property dispute. Kucka and Hemsley’s mother live on an attached apartment on the property. Hemsley said he found the stepfather throwing his clothes on the lawn, then throw hangers at him, swore, gave him the finger and threw a bucket of items at him and pushed a refrigerator into him. The stepfather said Hemsley came home, confronted him about the items in the shed and pushed him up against the shed with a metal rake. He also failed to tell police he had a loaded handgun in his pocket. Both were charged.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, POSSESSION NARCOTICS — On Aug. 3, Marc Panapada, 31, of Town Colony Drive was hitting his wife while he had heroin (14.6 grams) in his possession and she flushed it down the toilet. She told police she told him she had flushed it but threw it behind the refrigerator and he threw her to the ground. She said he is a recovering addict and we recently released.

INTERFERING WITH OFFICER — On Aug. 2, Peter T Gawron, 58, of Long Lane and another man left First and Last Tavern, both highly intoxicated, leaning on each other. He was sputtering sentences and fumbling with his keys to unlock the driver’s side door of his car. When police approached, he said, “uh-oh, police.” He refused to turn over his keys; the officer smelled alcohol on his breath.

FAILURE TO APPPEAR — On Aug. 3, Christopher B. Bartmess, 30, of Fairland Drive, Fairfield, turned himself into police.

ILLEGAL NARCOTICS SALE, DISTRIBUTION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WITHIN 1,500 FEET OF SCHOOL, POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE — On Aug. 3, Eddie B. Walker, 44, of Main Street turned himself into police on an outstanding warrant for crack cocaine use and sale.

THIRD-DEGREE ASSAULT, DISORDERLY CONDUCT, INTERFERING WITH EMERGENCY CALL, THIRD-DEGREE CRIMINAL MISCHIEF — On Aug. 2, Ikeem K. McDaniel, 24, of Grand Street was at the 30 block of Ferry Street arguing with his ex-girlfriend over their three children. He grabbed the phone while she was trying to call 911, broke her cell phone, grabbed her by the neck and slammed her head against the dryer.

FAIL ALCOHOL TEST — On Aug. 2, Franklin Green, 60, of Highland Avenue was driving erratically on South Main Street. He failed sobriety tests

POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, THIRD-DEGREE ASSAULT, BREACH OF PEACE — On July 29 at 1:07 p.m., Tinesha Ziemba, 32, of Johnson Street was at work at Demer’s Exposition, called her mother and fiancé saying she had swallowed two Dilaudin and one Percocet pill in a suicide attempt. She admitted at Middlesex Hospital she had been abusing drugs due to relationship issues. In her purse were six Endocet pills, which she paid $80 for. On July 30 at 10:50 a.m., police were called to the 100 block of Johnson for a fight between Ziemba and her fiancé over driving their truck. He refused to let her so she punched him in the face many times. He was found with blood streaming from his nose on the back step and said the fight was over her saying he owed her $80 for the pills.

VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER, SECOND-DEGREE UNLAWFUL RESTRAINT, DISORDERLY CONDUCT, INTERFERING WITH OFFICER, FIRST-DEGREE BURGLARY — On July 30, Jakese Sessoms, 36, of Spencer Street was found on Liberty Place, where he entered an apartment without permission and began hitting his girlfriend for sleeping with a friend of his. He grabbed her hair and dragged her upstairs, when she got away, he ran after her and pulled her back into the house by the hair.
