Police Charge Wesleyan Security Guards With Voyeurism
Two men have been arrested following the investigation into the incident which took place in early April at Middletown's liberal arts college.
The two Wesleyan security officers fired in May after allegations they secretly videotaped a female student in her residence with a smartphone have been arraigned on voyeurism charges.
On April 8, Middletown police received a complaint alleging that two Wesleyan public safety officer had videotaped a student, which prompted a special investigations probe that turned up the video footage, according to the report.
Upon interviews, Richard Hodge admitted to police he did record the student and Michael Anderson confirmed he received video of the student from Hodge, according to the police report.

Hodge and Anderson turned themselves into police at 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Hodge, 35, of Franklin Avenue, Hartford, was charged with two counts of voyeuristic recording of another person and disseminating voyeuristic material.

Anderson, 34, of Inverness Lane, Middletown, was charged with disseminating voyeuristic material.
Both are due back in court on July 26.
