Police Arrest Two Teens After Resident Interrupts Mid-day Burglary

One Man Found at Scene of Crime on Sand Hill Road; Second Found on Chauncey Street

Two Middletown teenagers were arrested on burglary charges Monday after police said they broke into a house off Randolph Road near Xavier High School and tried to flee in a stolen car.

Police were alerted by the resident, who spotted the suspects in a car in the driveway, one of whom she recognized. The victim told officers she saw some of her possessions in the back seat of the car.

Pawel Wieprzkowicz, 19, Anthony Stevens, 18, both of Middletown, were charged with third-degree burglary, fifth-degree and second-degree larceny.
